CALIFORNIA MACADAMIA SOCIETY

The society operates on a nonprofit entity, emphasizing it's mission to serve the macadamia farming community.

It's primary purpose is to educate farmers on various aspects of macadamia cultivation, from general practices to specific operational challenges.

The society works with other key players in California's macadamia industry, such as the UC Cooperative Extension and Gold Crown Macadamia Nuts to advance the crop.

 The society hosts an Annual Field Day for growers, offering classes and opportunities to ask questions of guest speaker experts. 

 Events like the Filed Day provide a forum for macadamia growers to connect, share knowledge, and receive updates on the industry. 

The cost of California Macadamia Growers Field Day is$30 per person online or $35 cash at door.

The California Macadamia Field Day includes speakers on topics such as watering/irrigation, fertilization, rodent abatement, best practices and much more.  We also include a light breakfast and lunch.  There will also be a raffle held at the end for great items such as honey, a fig tree, a passion fruit tree and other fun items.
